Recap of the last few months of 2025

I know I don't usually put all the months together, but I wanted to give you a bit of a life update after September. Bondurant, WY was our last trip of 2025. The rest of the months and days in 2025 were spent in Utah. My parents did come visit us at the end of September and then after that Nick and I were house hunting. We all know how stressful that can be and it took up a lot of our time in the fall. I know I wasn't blogging as much and or sometimes not even getting outdoors as much too. I am happy to announce that we did get a home in South Ogden, UT. There were a lot of stressful and tough days that we went through in getting the home but we are relieved to finally have our own place now. Thus, October-December was a lot of moving, putting the house together, redecorating, maintenance repairs, yard work, etc. It was a big transition for us but I feel like we're finally settled in for now with only a few extra projects to work on.

I do apologize for being MIA for a bit but guess what?! I'm human and sometimes life events take priority over other things and so my time and energy has been working on this home of ours. I am planning on getting back on track with the blog and sharing new and exciting adventures for 2026! I hope you all had wonderful holidays and are off to a great start to the new year. Nick and I first trip is coming up in Mid-March. We will be heading back to Jackson, WY for my birthday trip so we'll have lots of snowy adventures to share.
